Copyvio
уредиI removed a large amount of text, since it's copied in copyright violation from here. In this website (idividi.com) the text was published on 29.09.2008 (see the date on the bottom of the page) and in Wikipedia on 17.10.2008, which proves the copyright violation. Meanwhile, I hope people will spend more time on adding valuable information in Wikipedia, such as articles on natural and human sciences, real culture and society, rather than serving popular beliefs. Kind regards and have a Happy Christmas, --PetaRZ (разговор) 16:21, 24 декември 2008 (UTC)
- Guitardemon666, I removed the text since it's copyright violation, i.e. it's copied from here which is a violation of Wikipedia's policies. --PetaRZ (разговор) 18:38, 6 јануари 2009 (UTC)
- This text is found on many sites around the world wide web, and my guess is that the text we see on idividi.com.mk is actually a translation of one of the many sites that have published vanga's 'visions' (or call them what you want). So, it could be that the user that entered the text was actually translating the text from the links below. However it may be, it is impossible that idividi.com.mk has a copyright on that text, as the text that was inserted in the article could have well been a translation of the other sites written in English (and/or other languages as well, I haven't looked this info up in other languages) into Macedonian. And if you are implying that the user just copied/pasted the text from idividi, I personally altered the text in such a way that it does not match the text on idividi.com.mk (without knowing it exists on idividi.com.mk) and as such, can freely be interpreted as a translation of a book I have at home, or a website I found on the net. And pardon my copyright knowledge which is, in fact, quite poor, but I think this is no case of copyright infringement whatsoever. So what you are saying is wrong (according to my assumptions).
- Here are the links:
- And there is a video as well that pretty much sums up all of her predictions/prophecies/visions
- I think this is proof enough.
- P.S. Please do not judge the type of content that users choose to deal with, as this is a FREE encyclopedia and everyone has the right to write about what they like, be it black magic and prophecies or natural sciences and math. What you can do, if you would like to of course, is to recommend to the users of the Bulgarian Wikipedia what kind of articles they should write, so that your Wikipedia can look the way you would like it to. As for this Wikipedia, any kind of contribution is welcome.
- Oh, and by the way, would you mind telling me why you keep adding the bg.wikiquote box/link on Vanga's page? What does it have to do with this Wikipedia? Maybe we should add a link to the Chinese Wikiquote on Mao Tse Tung's article on mk.wikipedia? It would be as relevant to that article, as what you did is to this one. One could very easily interpret this as Bulgarian propaganda, which would be rather disappointing coming from an admin on bg.wikipedia, but as you said, one should assume good faith, and hope for the best. So please don't add it again.

- I hope you really assume good faith, because I really didn't noticed that bg wikiquote box, I simply restored the article in a state before the copyvio was introduced. Not dealing with black magic was just a friendly advice, every user can of course write about black magic, Vanga, astrology, homeopathy, etc., but this is an encyclopedia, so writing about such phenomena has to be neutral, and especially skeptic and well referenced: in the current state the page looks like obscurantist advertisement, like the page where is it copied from; I think I was very clear explaining you once and twice how this is a copyvio, so I'll not revert it nor modify it (I'm not willing enter an editwar, even less with an admin), let it enter mk Wikipedia under your own responsibility.
