'''Бошњаците''' ([[босански јазик|босански]]: ''Bošnjaci'') се [[Јужни Словени|јужнословенски]] народ што живее главно во [[Босна и Херцеговина]] и регионот [[Санџак]] во [[Србија]] и [[Црна Гора]]. Има и Бошњачки заеднци во околните балкански земји, [[Европа]] и [[Америка]]. Нивната бројност е нешто повеќе од 2 милиони. Тие се главно потомци на словенското население на средновековна Босна кое било [[Ислам|исламизирано]] за време на [[Отоманска Империја|отоманското]] владеење. Нивната главна одлика е нивната муслиманска вероисповед, приврзаноста кон Босанскиот историски регион, заедничката култура, а зборуваат на [[босански јазик]], кој е речиси идентичен на српско-хрватскиот јазик. Повеќето презимиња на Бошњаците завршуваат на -иќ. Босански јазик е официјален јазик во Босна и Херцеговина.
