- No problem. I am glad to help. I myself am a Greek and I consider the Macedonians as my brothers. I am very angry with my home country, Greece, for the taboo towards the modern Macedonians who have every right for self-declaration. I came in the Wikipedia to work on both Greek and Macedonian articles and my primary goal is to undo any political influence on the articles related to Ancient Macedonia and the ancient Macedonians. However my work is halted by the fact that my skills in speaking Macedonian language are still poor, and for this reason I rely on the help of Macedonians who have the time and are willing to help the community improve the articles. The Ancient Macedonians deserve to be respected and shall rest in peace. Со љубов, SilentResident --SilentResident (разговор) 14:07, 7 септември 2011 (CEST)
- I sincerely hope that you will have a nice time here, without any political or ethic problems, and we will do just fine. One again, welcome and all the best.--Никола Стоіаноски 14:11, 7 септември 2011 (CEST)
- That's a very good idea. I can help you regarding the Macedonian language, orthography and grammar whenever I am able to do so. I do hope that the other users may do the same thing, correct the writing or suggest ideas and sources. Best, --Никола Стоіаноски 14:24, 7 септември 2011 (CEST)
- Thanks. Your response gives me hope. We traveled the land of Macedonia, visited Thessalonica (Solun), Pella, Dios, Vergina, Bitola, and so many other sites, we realized that the politicians didn't really cared for the history, they only care who will "take" ancient Macedonia. In either side, Macedonian or Greek, everyone cared mainly for the prestige and the greatness that followed the specific ancient Kingdom of Macedon. I myself with 3 other friends, a Greek, Petros and 2 Macedonians, Vlado and Stefan, we traveled though the ancient Macedonian archeological sites. I can tell it was very emotional. Especially in the tomb of Philip, father of Alexander the Great. We realized that either country was trully caring about the truth of the Ancient Macedonians. We realized that we are all brothers. But I doubt the majority is aware of how close our nations are rather than distant. Well, our task is at least let Wikipedia be as clean and beautiful as the archeological sites themselves. Provide the articles with photos from the museums and more info about every aspect of the ancient Macedonian life and political affairs in this region of the Balkans. Because history is so interesting, much like as seeing the details of art in a white marple column! --SilentResident (разговор) 14:36, 7 септември 2011 (CEST)
