Библиски појас

Библиски појас е неформален израз за делот од САД во кој социјално-конзервативниото евангелско протестантство претставува значаен дел од културата, а редовната посета на црквите е исклучително голема.

Библијата појас се состои од голем дел од јужните сојузни држави, како и дел од југозападот на САД. За време на колонијалниот период (1607-1776), Југот бил упориште на Англиканската црква. Транзицијата во упориште на неангликанското протестантство се случила постепено во текот на следниот век.
